Nestled within the historic heart of Lisbon, my recent stay at this charming hotel was an experience worth sharing. As a critic from Edinburgh, I have a penchant for accommodations that seamlessly blend heritage with comfort, and this locale did just that. I particularly appreciate having a shared kitchen, modest yet functional, nice for a degree of independence. The prime location near Alfama was a delight, with easy access to the tram system and an array of good restaurants such as Velho Macedo and Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau, offering culinary treats just steps away. My satisfaction with the experience was profound, and I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to fellow travelers. It's a perfect base for exploring the vibrant culture of Lisbon.
